Pitt’s John Hugley Injures Knee in Practice; Out for Several Weeks

On Friday, Pitt big man John Hugley suffered a knee injury in practice that will keep him sidelined for multiple weeks, Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed.

Hugley, a junior forward, led the Panthers in scoring and rebounding last season, averaging 14.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.

In the front court, the Panthers also have forwards Fede Federiko (sophomore), Jorge Diaz-Graham (freshman), and Guillermo Diaz-Graham (freshman).

The Panthers open the season with two exhibition games, starting with Clarion (Oct. 22) and Edinboro (Nov. 2).
