Twitter Reaction To Pitt Rebounding and Upsetting No. 14 Louisville

With having a week off, making some lineup changes and having some to change the gameplan, Pitt hoped to make a run during the second half of the season.
While it’s only one game, Pitt started the second half of the season with a solid performance as they upset No. 14 Louisville at Acrisure Stadium.
Quarterback Christian Veilleux was an upgrade at quarterback over Phil Jurkovec and while the offense wasn’t consistent for four quarters, they made enough plays to move the ball.
A huge point in the game was right before the end of the third quarter and Louisville driving inside Pitt’s 25 yard line, cornerback MJ Devonshire intercepted a pass and returned it 86 yards for a touchdown.
Jurkovec and Pat Narduzzi were public enemies No.1 following the Virginia Tech game, here’s who Pitt fans are talking about tonight.
Think we found our Quarterback H2P

Christian Veilleux played a good game. Wasn’t perfect but there’s a lot to work with there. Solid arm, throws a good ball. Liked his pocket presence.
Excited to watch him the rest of the season.

A much needed Win for the Program! Love the way Coach had them men ready to play.

Wow. What the season could have been if the change that everyone asked for happened earlier. With that being said, it’s not too late to turn things around

Pitt has now beat at least one Top 25 team in eight consecutive seasons (2016-23) under Pat Narduzzi. #H2P

I'd love to know how Pitt got from trusting Veilleux so little they let the other guy lose four games to trusting him to throw a deep shot on fourth down.

With the 38-21 win over No. 14 Louisville, #Pitt has it's highest ranked win since a 24-14 victory over No. 2 Miami on Nov. 24, 2017.

Just a fantastic game plan from Randy Bates tonight… And while I’m not sure Vailleaux fixed all that much, it was at least a spark. Huge win for Pitt that offers some hope the season isn’t totally lost.

On the pod I said Pitt was an open manhole/trap game for Louisville. Cardinals fell right into it.

Pitt has 4 offensive touchdowns today – the most it has had against an FBS team this season.

Pitt, meanwhile, about to pick up its first FBS win over unbeaten Louisville. What a country.
